Mmmmmm yogurt
All good recipe books have beautiful full-color images of the "final product" presented in fancy dishes with a tasteful background.
One would hope.
I wanted to make some homemade yogurt, and I needed to know the correct incubation temperature. (Yogurt is formed when bacteria grow in the milk, producing acid, which denatures the proteins and curdles the milk.) Naturally, the easiest way is to do a search on the web to find the needed information. I found this page. The representative photo just doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about the recipe. Fuzzy, yes. Fuzzy mold, that is.
Is it just me, or is that not an appetizing photo of homemade yogurt?
